Despite missing several runners due to illness a good turnout of Shepshed runners tackled the infamous hills of the Launde 6 and the gentler undulations of the Desford 5 on an unusually hot day! Its great to be back racing again! We had a great turnout of 11 runners at Watermead 5 mile race this week. Well done to everyone and congratulations to Rebecca Randell on placing 3rd female! Watermead 2021 Results SRC at Watermead 2021 Richard Bibb finished 24th in the Windmill Fell Race, roughly 5 miles and 300 m of climb. Richard enjoying the conditions!
Prestwold 10K Results
SRC getting ready! It was the first Leicesterhsire Road Running League race today and for most of us the first race since lockdown began! It was a great turnout for SRC and some excellent results with many PBs being achieved today! Well done everyone, especially Rebecca for her first place finish! Provisional results below.
