It was a busy week for Shepshed Running Club with runners taking part in the last LRRL race the Rotherby 8, the Robin Hood Half Marathon and the Charnwood Challenge. Well done everyone, most notably Rebecca Randell who won the womens race to end a great league season! Despite missing several runners due to illness a good turnout of Shepshed runners tackled the infamous hills of the Launde 6 and the gentler undulations of the Desford 5 on an unusually hot day! SRC getting ready! It was the first Leicesterhsire Road Running League race today and for most of us the first race since lockdown began! It was a great turnout for SRC and some excellent results with many PBs being achieved today! Well done everyone, especially Rebecca for her first place finish! Provisional results below. After three races Shepshed are doing well in the League with 30 runners taking parts in the third race the "Monster Mile".
